Our
Story
How it all started
Nadja Barnard, the founder of Nadiletics, found healing and strength through jump rope after a difficult childhood. She is now determined to share this joy with children in Africa, starting with a trip to Cape Town where the idea for Ropes for Africa was born. After witnessing the excitement of local kids, Nadja vowed to return with enough ropes for them all.
..and so we set off to save the world with the power of a single jump rope

I was so so sad i only had that one rope with me when i was in cape town back then. I vowed that if i ever made some extra cash i would be back with enough ropes for everyone."

Ropes for Africa aims to distribute jump ropes to children in Africa, while hosting events that engage and inspire them through group activities, games, and coaching clinics. "I can see it in my head" says Nadja, "Every child not only takes home their very own jump rope and heaps of new the skills, it´s the joy , the confidence and the memories that will stay with them for lifetime!"
